Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective large-market clients to drive new business.
  • Collaborate with businesses to identify their insurance needs and provide innovative risk management solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional service and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Create and deliver effective presentations and proposals to prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal underwriters, brokers, and account management teams to structure and negotiate insurance policies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Stay informed regarding market trends, competitors, and new insurance products or offerings to provide clients with the best options.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and business development objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Producer or in a similar insurance sales role, with a focus on large market clients.
  • Hold and maintain a valid insurance producer's license (or the ability to obtain one within a specified period).
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and their applications, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and specialty coverages.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client risks and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Self-starter with a commitment to achieving individual and team goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM and insurance software tools is preferred.
