Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to supporting the commercial lines department by managing certificates of insurance, handling carrier correspondence, and ensuring seamless communication with clients and underwriters. The ideal candidate will have a strong insurance acumen, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Certificates of Insurance:
- Review and issue certificates of insurance on the same day as requested.
- Process endorsements, follow up with underwriters, and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
- Communicate with clients regarding deficiencies and provide quotes for additional coverages if needed.
- Carrier Correspondence:
- Manage incoming carrier correspondence, including policies, endorsements, audits, and notices.
- Save documents in the internal system, check for accuracy, and invoice as necessary.
- Process audits and coordinate with Account Managers for review.
- Provide exceptional support to the commercial lines team and maintain accurate records in AMS360.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and terminology.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AMS360 or similar agency management software.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Easygoing and collaborative attitude.
