Associate Account Manager (Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Account Manager to join a growing team. This role focuses on managing a book of commercial real estate accounts, ensuring exceptional client service, and supporting producers with marketing and account strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property insurance, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to excellence in client relations.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually (based on experience)
  • 401(k)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of commercial real estate accounts from onboarding through renewal.
  • Prepare submissions, quotes, and renewal proposals.
  • Review policy terms, endorsements, and coverage forms to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Work directly with carriers and underwriters to secure optimal terms for clients.
  • Handle certificates, ACORD applications, policy changes, and client requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Support producers with marketing efforts and account strategy development.
  • Deliver responsive, detail-driven service to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in commercial insurance, with a focus on property and real estate accounts.
  • Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Now Certs or Applied Epic software is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of real estate-focused insurance policies and processes.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
    • Self-driven and proactive in problem-solving.
    • Comfortable with technology and open to learning new systems.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Comfortable preparing Statements of Coverage (SOC).
    • Skilled in building proposals and working with ACORD forms.
    • Must pass a background check prior to the start date.
