Operations & Case Management Specialist (Fully Remote)
Our Regional Client, a boutique property & casualty, life insurance, and estate planning firm serving affluent families and business owners, is seeking an Operations & Case Management Specialist to support the firm’s continued growth. This key team member will manage the end-to-end life insurance application process, oversee operational workflows, and ensure a seamless client and advisor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full life insurance application process—from contracting/licensing to submission to policy delivery.
- Communicate directly with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Order and track underwriting requirements (Paramed exams, labs, APS, etc.).
- Maintain proactive updates to key stakeholders and clients, and the principal throughout each case.
- Manage agency systems, workflows, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records in the firm’s CRM and digital filing systems.
- Prepare and edit fillable PDF forms, applications, and client documents.
- Utilize DocuSign and other e-signature platforms for client document execution and client intake.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in life insurance operations, case management, or related financial services.
- Familiarity with life insurance products, underwriting, and carrier procedures.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat (fillable/editable PDFs) proficiency.
- CRM experience (SmartOffice, Salesforce, or AgencyBloc preferred).
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary commensurate with experience but ideally between $60,000-$70,000 + discretionary bonus
