Customer Service Representative (CSR) – 75% Personal / 25% Commercial
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a team. This role involves a hybrid of responsibilities, with 75% focused on personal lines and 25% on commercial lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. This position offers a mix of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility and a supportive work culture.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually (potentially up to $60,000 based on experience)
- 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance accounts (75% personal lines, 25% commercial lines)
- Provide comprehensive support to producers, including quoting new and renewal business
- Handle billing inquiries and processes
- Utilize multiple carrier systems, including Westfield, Safeco, Western Reserve, Central, Progressive, and Hastings
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with exposure to both personal and commercial lines
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, rating systems, and agency management systems

- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry

- Other Requirements:
- Multi-carrier experience preferred
- Background check, reference check, and credit check required prior to start date
