Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for personal insurance clients, providing exceptional service, building long-term relationships, and managing policies to meet their unique needs. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the agency, ensuring client inquiries, concerns, and policy updates are handled with efficiency and professionalism.
- Manage and renew a portfolio of personal lines insurance policies, including home, auto, and other individual coverage.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding policy options, coverage levels, and risk management strategies.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor client accounts to identify cross-selling opportunities and upsell additional insurance products, as appropriate.
- Process policy endorsements, changes, renewals, cancellations, and claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay updated on personal insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate and timely information to clients.
- Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and other team members to ensure outstanding service delivery.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client files in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in personal lines account management preferred.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in navigating agency management software systems and basic office programs (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to analyze client needs and offer personalized solutions in a consultative manner.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, including staying abreast of industry changes and certifications.
- Previous experience working with a variety of carriers, including Mercury (required) and Safeco, as well as programs like the California FAIR Plan.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $65k-$85k (based on experience).
