Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager (Part-Time)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service. You will work collaboratively with our sales and operations teams to maintain client satisfaction, foster long-term relationships, and deliver tailored insurance solutions. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for someone with experience in account management and a passion for delivering outstanding support to clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial insurance clients, developing strong and trusted relationships.
- Review, negotiate, and manage insurance renewals, endorsements, and policy changes to meet clients' needs effectively.
- Provide ongoing client education about their insurance products, ensuring clarity and alignment with their business objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments for clients to recommend appropriate coverage and minimize exposure.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to address policy inquiries, claims, and other matters on behalf of clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
- Support the onboarding of new clients, including the preparation of proposals and applications.
- Monitor and uphold compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience and resolve service issues promptly.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional insurance products.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management.
- At least 5 years of independent agency experience required.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, including general liability, property, workers’ compensation, and other coverages.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a part-time setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying client needs.
