Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our commercial insurance clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional customer service and expert guidance. You will manage client accounts, develop strong client relationships, and maintain a thorough understanding of policies and products while providing innovative solutions to meet their insurance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring optimal retention and renewals.
  • Educate clients on available insurance coverage options, tailoring solutions to their unique needs.
  • Process and oversee policy renewals, endorsements, and audits.
  • Assist clients with claims, billing inquiries, certificates of insurance, and other service-related needs.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clients’ insurance programs to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records using internal systems.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and ensure proper coverage is in place.
  • Keep current with industry regulations, market trends, and product developments to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant insurance industry experience required; 7-10+ preferred.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in insurance agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a customer-first approach to service delivery.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $70k-$90k (based on experience) + commission.
