Salary Range: $125,000 –$220,000 (Based on Experience)

🧩 Role Overview

As a Marketing Account Executive within the Commercial Lines team, you will lead and coordinate marketing activities for new and renewal business, while supporting Producers in sales efforts. Your responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a consultative point of contact for clients, identifying and understanding their needs, and providing recommendations with supporting rationale.

  • Demonstrating strong negotiation skills and responding to Requests for Proposals.

  • Participating in prospect meetings and directing mid-year reviews.

  • Working closely with national leadership to drive Line of Business (LOB) strategy and initiatives.

  • Leading, mentoring, and training other account service team members.


🎯 Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or related experience.

  • Minimum of six years of relevant insurance industry experience.

  • Property and casualty insurance license.

  • Considerable knowledge of markets, policies, and coverage issues across various states and industries.

  • Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize team workload.

  • Leadership skills to provide direction, praise, constructive feedback, and development to employees.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships.

  • Strong persuasion skills and tact to obtain information, negotiate with markets, and motivate staff.

  • Discretion and problem-solving skills to analyze client information and resolve client, market, and employee relations problems.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to travel overnight as needed.

  • Advanced degree(s).

  • Insurance industry certifications in addition to the necessary license.

  • Significant prior experience leading teams and/or projects.
