Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager/Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the successful implementation and management of insurance policies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with commercial clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the client base.
- Serve as the primary contact for all customer service needs, including policy inquiries, claims assistance, and account changes.
- Manage the renewal process for existing clients, including negotiating terms and conditions with insurance carriers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and policy documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to effectively advise clients on insurance options.
- Assist in the preparation of insurance proposals and presentations for new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager, or similar role.
- 3-5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Bonds is preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policy terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and systems for managing client accounts and policy information.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
