Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and retention, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial insurance clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional service
- Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and place coverage for clients
- Renew existing policies and proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and underwriting guidelines to effectively advise clients and make informed recommendations
- Support the sales team in prospecting and securing new business opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of relevant insurance industry experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
