Commercial Lines Sales Manager
Job Summary:
Seeking a results-driven Commercial Lines Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of producers within a dynamic and growth-focused insurance organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned producer with a proven track record who is ready to transition into a leadership position and empower others to succeed. The position involves regional travel to support sales team development and promote consistency across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of commercial lines producers, with a focus on junior team members
- Implement sales strategies and performance goals to drive new business and retention
- Deliver in-person and remote training sessions across various office locations
- Monitor and support the sales process from small business to complex, multi-layered commercial accounts
- Collaborate with senior leadership on sales initiatives, recruitment, and integration following acquisitions
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial insurance experience, with a successful history as a producer
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience working with a broad range of account sizes and industries
- Ability to travel for team development, meetings, and strategic planning sessions
- Goal-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset suited to a high-growth environment
