Job Summary
The Commercial Lines Client Service Specialist (CSS) provides dedicated support to the client service manager in servicing a portfolio of mid-market commercial insurance accounts. This role is responsible for delivering timely quotations, managing routine policy transactions, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure a high level of service and retention.
Responsibilities
- Assist the client service manager with daily servicing tasks for mid-market accounts
- Prepare and deliver quotes for new business and policy renewals
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding policy coverage, billing, and claims status
- Coordinate policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations in the agency management system
- Maintain accurate account files and documentation
- Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to resolve coverage questions and obtain approvals
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and streamline service processes
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial lines experience with mid-market accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with acute attention to detail
- Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients and colleagues
- Self-starter who anticipates needs and takes initiative
- Empathetic approach to client service, demonstrating patience and professionalism under pressure
- Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and agency management systems
