Seeking a driven and client-focused Group Benefits Producer to develop and grow a book of business. This role involves actively prospecting new business opportunities, managing warm leads, and providing consultative support to clients. Ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in employee benefits and a desire to build long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new business opportunities and manage warm and referred leads
- Develop tailored group benefits solutions, including health, medical, dental, and vision plans
- Quote and present both new and renewal business to prospective and existing clients
- Maintain relationships with carriers to secure competitive benefit offerings
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic benefit solutions that meet client needs and drive retention
- Stay informed of market trends, carrier changes, and compliance updates relevant to group benefits
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Life & Health (L&H) license required
- Experience working with group benefits products (50-200 lives), primarily fully insured plans
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative sales skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
