Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Marketing Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new business development in the commercial insurance sector, working on accounts such as Construction, Hospitality, and Healthcare. This individual will report to the Agency Leader and will play a crucial role in negotiating premiums, preparing proposals, and maintaining strong carrier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with producers and Account Executives to negotiate premiums and terms with carriers
- Prepare proposals and bind coverage for new business
- Focus on new business development, with renewal business accounting for a smaller portion of the role
- Work with wholesalers and brokers, leveraging strong carrier relationships
- Quote new and renewal business, with a primary focus on new business
Qualifications/Requirements
- P&C license is required
- 5+ years of experience in an AE/Marketing role
- Proficiency in EPIC software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently with different personalities
- Prior experience in handling accounts in the commercial insurance sector
