Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring a high level of service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing proactive risk management advice
- Analyze insurance coverage options, negotiate with carriers, and prepare comprehensive proposals for clients
- Collaborate with underwriters to secure competitive quotes and terms for clients' insurance policies
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in insurance regulations to provide informed guidance to clients
- Monitor policy renewals, conduct coverage reviews, and process endorsements and policy changes as needed
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless client onboarding, policy servicing, and claims resolution
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active Texas P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Previous contractors and surplus lines experience is preferred
