Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Remote-Atlanta
Job Summary: A reputable agency is in search of a detail-oriented individual with a thorough understanding of commercial lines insurance coverages. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in both admitted and non-admitted carriers' coverage lines.
Description: The preferred candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial, established book of business.
- Previous experience in client-facing roles.
- Proficiency in various insurance products and maintaining client relationships.
- Capability to handle new and renewal submissions efficiently.
- Competence in reviewing insurance contracts for inaccuracies.
- Proficient in processing endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
- Ability to complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
- Thoroughly check policy coverage and endorsements on all new business and renewals.
- Can work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Directly responsible for retaining all accounts assigned to the team.
- Apply problem-solving skills to address various issues such as cancellations, claims, renewal matters, audits, receivables, and carrier issues.
Requirements:
- Must hold an active P&C license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management.
- Above-average computer skills, with the ability to become proficient in various necessary programs.
