Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our agency.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and addressing their insurance needs
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, issue new policies, and process claims
- Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional insurance products
- Stay current on industry trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Contribute to the overall success of the agency by meeting or exceeding retention and growth goals
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of previous independent agency experience required
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverages, and underwriting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented and organized with a strong customer focus
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
