Job Summary
An established, large independent insurance broker seeks a highly motivated and service-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Executive. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in account servicing within the commercial insurance industry. The Account Executive will focus entirely on servicing large-market healthcare accounts with premiums of $500K or more, collaborating with producers and leading account managers on strategic initiatives. No sales or management responsibilities are involved. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a client-focused, service-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare accounts, providing dedicated service and support.
- Collaborate with producers and account managers to develop and execute account strategies.
- Manage and support the servicing of large-market accounts, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of account renewals, updates, and claims.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.
- Quote new and renewal business as required.
- No sales or management duties—focus is entirely on service and client relationships.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Required: P&C insurance license.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a strong emphasis on large-market servicing.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or generalist large-market accounts is preferred.
- Strong service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping clients and driving satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using Epic or similar insurance software platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $160K - $170K (based on experience) + bonus opportunities
