We’re partnering with a respected insurance agency in the St. Petersburg area that’s looking to add a Commercial Lines Assistant to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and looking to either get started in insurance or step into a role that offers stability and a strong team environment.
In this position, you’ll support the Commercial Lines department by assisting account managers and executives with day-to-day client service tasks. If you enjoy being the go-to person who helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Preparing and issuing certificates of insurance

Ordering motor vehicle reports (MVRs) for commercial clients

Reviewing policies and endorsements to ensure everything looks correct

Updating applications in the agency management system

Using carrier websites to gather policy information and documents

Sorting and processing incoming mail (like policies and endorsements)
What We’re Looking For:

Some experience in insurance is preferred (1–2 years in a support role is ideal)

Comfortable with insurance basics and familiar with certificates of insurance

Solid attention to detail — accuracy matters here

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organized

A team player with a helpful, can-do attitude

Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook, Excel)

Experience with Applied Epic or another agency management system is a plus

Active FL 4-40 or 2-20 license is required (or willingness to obtain — support is available)
