Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling workers' compensation claims, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception to close
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather necessary information to make accurate liability decisions
- Communicate effectively with injured workers, medical providers, and legal representatives
- Negotiate settlements and coordinate payments for medical treatment and lost wages
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex claims
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior experience as a workers' compensation claims adjuster
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Relevant certifications/licenses in workers' compensation claims adjusting
