Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and deep knowledge of commercial insurance products. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and growing a commercial lines book of business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, providing expert advice and guidance on insurance products and coverage options.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate policies, review renewals, and ensure accuracy of coverage and pricing.
- Assist in the development of strategic plans to grow the commercial lines business through cross-selling, upselling, and client referrals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, changes in regulations, and new insurance products to provide proactive insights to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and risk management.
- Proven track record in account management and client retention, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A valid P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license is required.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISR, CIC) are preferred.
