Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in serving our commercial clients by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with them.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for commercial clients, responding to inquiries and providing information about insurance products and services
- Collaborate with insurance agents and underwriters to process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals for commercial insurance clients
- Assist in the preparation of insurance proposals and presentations for potential commercial clients
- Handle policy service tasks including but not limited to certificate issuance, policy audits, and billing inquiries
- Create and maintain accurate client records and document all client interactions within the agency management system
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies to provide knowledgeable assistance to clients
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with agency management systems is a plus
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
