Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Producer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a "hunter" mentality producer with a proven track record of success in personal lines sales. While offering remote work flexibility, we emphasize the importance of active community networking and building local relationships. The ideal candidate will have independent agency experience and the ability to hit the ground running, generating new business and expanding client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Aggressively prospect and generate new personal lines insurance leads through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the Louisville community and surrounding areas.
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify clients' insurance requirements.
    • Present and explain insurance proposals and coverage options, closing sales effectively.
    • Achieve and exceed established sales targets and production goals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships.
    • Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
    • Conduct policy reviews and ensure clients' coverage remains adequate.
    • Actively network in the community to enhance brand awareness and generate referrals.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using agency management systems.
    • Prepare and submit insurance applications and related documentation.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient policy processing.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Kentucky insurance producer license (required).
  • Proven track record of success in personal lines insurance sales, with a strong "hunter" mentality.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an independent insurance agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining a strong local presence.
  • Proven ability to network effectively within the community.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems and CRM software.
  • Must live within a 30-40 minute commute of Louisville, KY, or be willing to network heavily within the Louisville, KY area.

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $30,000 - $50,000(DOE)
  • Uncapped commission structure with significant earning potential.
  • Flexible remote work arrangement.
