Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a book of business from A-Z, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and that they receive exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including handling policy renewals, endorsements, and claims
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that clients' insurance needs are met and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations to provide clients with accurate and relevant insurance advice
- Assist in the preparation of insurance proposals and presentations for clients
- Work with insurance underwriters to negotiate terms and coverage for clients
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology platforms
- Preferred Agency Management System experience: AMS360
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Active P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance license – required
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $75K-$90K (based on experience).
