Personal Insurance Marketing Specialist
Job Duties
- Work proactively to remarket policies for Producers and Account Managers while marketing new lines for existing customers.
- Provide assistance and counsel on personal lines matters to Sales Executives and Account Managers. Meet daily marketing needs of customers.
- Evaluate prospect’s current insurance program and offer alternatives based on coverage and price for producers and ‘House” Accounts. Present offer/proposal and finalize sale.
- Perform high-level pre-qualification of prospect by acquiring account information needed for PL Rating.
- May potentially help quote and place new business on occasion from referrals, call-ins, web-leads and other sources as opportunities are presented.
- Manage task reports regularly to include and not limited to: expiration list, market cross-sell and market consolidation reports.
- Proactively conduct renewal reviews and address renewal ‘Alerts’ to ensure clients’ needs are met via Policy Review Alerts – PREV.
- Maintain high proficiency level with carrier website rating systems and comparative rater to provide accurately priced alternative quotes to customers and prospects.
- Monitor electronic activities closely for assigned book of business.
- Remain current on coverage, forms and rates to effectively address customer’s insurance needs.
- Ongoing solicitation of round out/round up coverage for all lines of PL business on assigned producer and/or ‘House’ Accounts.
- Make referrals to commercial, life & health, financial and banking services.
- Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
