We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial General Liability Claims Team Manager with expertise in commercial auto claims to join our TPA client’s team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned claims professional with leadership skills to drive results and foster a high-performing team.

COMPENSATION:

  • $100,000 - $110,000/year

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in general liability claims handling, with significant exposure to commercial auto claims.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policy language, coverage analysis, and claims investigation techniques.
  • Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Adjuster license in applicable states is required or must be obtained.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage and lead a team of general liability claims adjusters, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.
  2. Monitor the progress of claims to ensure timely and accurate resolution in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  3. Oversee claims involving commercial auto exposures, including bodily injury and property damage.
  4. Review and approve claim reserves, settlements, and denials within authority limits.
  5. Ensure consistent application of policy language, legal principles, and best practices.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to resolve complex or escalated claims.
  7. Develop and implement team goals and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
