Personal Lines Customer Service Representative
Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and clerical duties to support 2 Account Managers (AMs).
- Assist clients throughout the claim submission process, offering updates on claim status and facilitating resolutions with adjusters or underwriters.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Process and manage personal lines insurance policies efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate closely with underwriters, agents, and internal teams to ensure seamless processing of all personal lines policies.
- Enter and maintain client information and policy details in the company’s database and CRM system.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on policy changes and billing matters.
- Prepare, review, and file insurance documents while ensuring adherence to accuracy and industry regulations.
- Address client concerns effectively, coordinating with underwriters, brokers, or other departments to achieve timely resolutions.
- Provide clients with comprehensive billing information, payment options, and assistance with payment-related inquiries.
- Uphold compliance with regulatory requirements, agency policies, and industry standards during client interactions.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships to enhance retention and satisfaction levels.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of various insurance coverages, policies, and terms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Keen attention to detail when reviewing policies and documents.
- An active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License is preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in personal lines insurance.
- Prior working knowledge of policy management, quoting, or claims handling in a personal lines insurance setting.
- Preferred Agency Management System Experience: Applied Epic
- Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
