Job Description

Introduction: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Claims Liaison to join our team. This role serves as a critical bridge between Sales, Service, and the Carrier, ensuring efficient communication and coordination of claims-related activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carrier underwriting and claims management, with the ability to work collaboratively with the Service Team and effectively manage communication between the Carrier and Insured/Customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Sales, Service, and the Carrier, ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Service Team to collect loss information and report it to the Carrier in a timely manner.
  • Provide proactive updates to the Insured/Customer regarding claim status and developments.
  • Organize and submit claims reports, ensuring they are timely and accurate.
  • Address audit inquiries and concerns related to claims data.
  • Participate in the audit and review of larger risk profiles to support ongoing development efforts.
  • Reconcile claims data with financial records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and track losses and reserves to stay informed of claim developments.
  • Act as a back-up to Account Manager and Account Service Manager roles as needed.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred). Insurance studies and designations are a plus.
  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with Agency Management Systems; AMS360 and ImageRight experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
  • Initiative and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • High emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, data analysis, and process innovation.
  • Ability to work independently while taking ownership of responsibilities and maintaining attention to detail.
