Commercial Lines Account Manager - Hybrid $65-$90k

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Understand clients' business needs and insurance requirements.

Policy Administration:
- Coordinate the renewal process for commercial insurance policies.
- Review policy terms, conditions, and coverage to ensure accuracy and adequacy.
- Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and other policy-related transactions.
- Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations and industry trends.

Risk Analysis:
- Analyze and assess the risk exposure of commercial clients.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms and conditions.
- Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and improvements.

Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to clients on policy details, coverage, and renewals.

Claims Management:
- Assist clients in the event of a claim, facilitating communication between clients and claims adjusters.
- Monitor the progress of claims and provide updates to clients as needed.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to explore new business opportunities.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and communicate updates to clients.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry.

Insurance Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry trends.

Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.

Organizational Skills:
- Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Computer Proficiency:
- Proficient in using Applied Epic or similar software

Professional Certification:
- Active Property & Casualty License
