Commercial Lines Account Manager - Hybrid $65-$90k

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Understand clients' business needs and insurance requirements.
  2. Policy Administration:

    • Coordinate the renewal process for commercial insurance policies.
    • Review policy terms, conditions, and coverage to ensure accuracy and adequacy.
    • Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and other policy-related transactions.
    • Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations and industry trends.
  3. Risk Analysis:

    • Analyze and assess the risk exposure of commercial clients.
    • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms and conditions.
    • Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and improvements.
  4. Documentation and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to clients on policy details, coverage, and renewals.
  5. Claims Management:

    • Assist clients in the event of a claim, facilitating communication between clients and claims adjusters.
    • Monitor the progress of claims and provide updates to clients as needed.
  6. Cross-Selling and Upselling:

    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products to meet clients' evolving needs.
    • Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to explore new business opportunities.
  7. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

    • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations and communicate updates to clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience:

    • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry.
  2. Insurance Knowledge:

    • In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry trends.
  3. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Organizational Skills:

    • Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Computer Proficiency:

    • Proficient in using Applied Epic or similar software
  6. Professional Certification:

    • Active Property & Casualty License
