Small Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Small Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 in premium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance, excellent client service skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with the opportunity to work remotely on Fridays after the initial training period.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewals and provide daily client service for a variety of commercial lines accounts.
• Independently handle a book of business, ensuring timely and accurate account management.
• Perform online rating and understand direct billing processes with various carriers.
• Utilize Applied EPIC software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is preferred.
• Work Schedule:
  • Onsite Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays after the initial training period.
  • Training period requires onsite presence Monday through Friday for up to 90 days, depending on the candidate's learning curve.
• Strong knowledge of online rating systems and direct billing processes with various carriers.
