Senior/Staff Homeowners Property Adjuster

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Staff Homeowners Property Adjuster to join a team. This field-based role involves managing residential property claims from initial First Notice of Loss (FNOL) through final resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in homeowners property claims, including coverage analysis, investigations, estimating, vendor management, and customer communication.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $79,000 – $103,000 (up to $110,000 for exceptional candidates)

Responsibilities

• Manage homeowner property claims from FNOL through closure.
• Conduct on-site inspections to determine scope, causation, and coverage.
• Prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate software.
• Investigate coverage issues and issue denials when warranted.
• Handle structural and contents losses.
• Manage claim reserves and exposure assessments.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors, mitigation vendors, and inspections.
• Communicate settlement rationale and manage customer expectations throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Resolve claims independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in homeowners property claims.
• Proficiency in Xactimate software.
• Proven ability to handle claims from start to finish.
• Strong skills in coverage interpretation and investigation.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based territory.
