• $70,000 - $90,000/year+ ( based on experience)

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or related work experience
• 3-5 years of experience handling MI Workers' Compensation/Indemnity claims with a preference for individuals with other midwest jurisdictional knowledge
• Active MI Adjuster's License

• Preferably reside in the state of Michigan

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process Michigan workers' compensation claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and insurance providers to provide updates and address inquiries.
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in workers' compensation.
