Personal/Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal/Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional with a background in personal lines and light commercial insurance, or for someone with personal lines experience who is eager to expand into commercial lines. The successful candidate will play a key role in servicing and managing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the agency.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a book of business, including personal lines (home, auto) and small commercial accounts (BOPs, general liability, small commercial packages).
  • Handle daily service tasks such as Certificates of Insurance, endorsements, change requests, and running reports.
  • Quote new and renewal business for both personal and commercial lines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in insurance account management.
    • Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in personal and/or commercial lines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied TAM software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • A proactive and customer-focused mindset.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
    • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
  • Work Environment: This is an on-site position, and candidates must be able to work from the office.
