Commercial Lines Account Manager (Middle to Larger Market)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role focuses on managing a diverse portfolio of middle to larger market commercial accounts, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional client service and maintaining long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the insurance industry, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
Compensation Package
- Salary: Competitive, up to $100,000 annually, based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Manage a large, generalist book of business with accounts ranging from $40,000 to $300,000 in premium, averaging $75,000+.
- Handle all aspects of account management ("soup to nuts"), including quoting new and renewal business (30% new, 70% renewal).
- Work with industries such as contractors, manufacturing, education, and general business.
- Utilize the Epic Agency Management System to manage accounts efficiently.
- Collaborate with top carriers, including Cincinnati, Westfield, Travelers, Philadelphia, and Encova.
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain and grow client relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends and maintain a high level of technical proficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines Account Management, with a preference for candidates at the early to mid-stage of their career.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Epic Agency Management System and general tech-savviness.

- Quick learner with a passion for the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Other Requirements: Must pass a background check prior to the start date.
