Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to a commercial lines accounts, ensuring prompt, accurate, and professional customer support in alignment with a agency's procedures and standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing a full servicing workload independently.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
  • Opportunity for a hybrid work schedule after the first year, based on performance

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to assigned accounts, minimizing errors and omissions
  • Handle client communications, including resolving issues and addressing coverage-related inquiries
  • Prepare submissions, proposals, statements of value, and renewal documents in collaboration with producers
  • Accurately process new and renewal business, ensuring proper documentation and system records
  • Issue certificates, binders, invoices, ID cards, and related correspondence
  • Manage audits, claims reporting, premium finance agreements, and cancellations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the agency management system
  • Monitor suspense items and prioritize daily workflow to meet deadlines
  • Keep producers informed of account activity and address potential issues proactively

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of insurance agency experience, specifically in commercial lines
  • Active insurance license or the ability to obtain/maintain one
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coverages and policy servicing
  • Advanced computer skills; experience with Epic software is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, proactive, and eager to grow within the insurance industry
