Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Property & Casualty Claims Coverage Adjuster to join s team. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work with a reputable insurance provider specializing in commercial small business insurance products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance claims coverage, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to manage complex claims processes.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated claims representative for coverage litigation and claims requiring separate coverage files across multiple insurance lines.
• Draft detailed and accurate coverage position letters.
• Act as the point of contact and claim handler for Declaratory Judgment Actions in collaboration with the Legal Department.
• Document coverage claim files with litigation updates, legal filings, and positional correspondence.
• Act as a fact witness in coverage litigation matters.
• Address Florida Civil Remedy Notices and monitor associated files.
• Assist in maintaining internal resources for proper handling of coverage claims.
• Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Legal Department.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: J.D. preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years combined experience in adjusting and handling coverage for commercial property and liability claims.
  • At least 5 years of experience handling litigated claims.
  • Proven experience in claims coverage analysis and drafting position letters.
• Skills:
  • Strong writing and editing capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently across multiple systems daily.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
