Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $36,000 - $65,000 annually (commensurate with experience and performance)
• Benefits:

  • 401(k) with a 3.5% company match (eligible after 90 days)
  • Benefits package available after 90 days of employment
• Commission Structure: Competitive, with opportunities for additional earnings based on performance
• Work Environment: Flexible options, including remote work for experienced producers (after an initial 30-45 day in-office training period)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of business, focusing on small to mid-sized accounts
• Build and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, acting as a hunter in the market
• Quote and bind new and renewal business, leveraging company resources and tools
• Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve individual and team goals
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulations to provide the best solutions to clients

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license (valid in East Coast states, excluding NY, NJ, and WV)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an independent insurance agency, with a preference for candidates experienced in both Personal Lines (PL) and Commercial Lines (CL)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance software such as Vertafore QQ and Momentum (NowCerts)
• Soft Skills:
