Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing middle to large market accounts and a proven ability to manage a $2M premium book of business.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $45,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
- 401(k): Employer match of 3-4%
Responsibilities
- Manage a $2M premium book of business, servicing middle to large market accounts in industries such as manufacturing, real estate, construction, and non-profits
- Handle all aspects of account servicing, including completing applications, issuing certificates of insurance (COIs), and marketing accounts
- Provide end-to-end support for clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Utilize agency management software (EPIC preferred; EZ Lynx experience a plus) to maintain accurate records and streamline processes
- Collaborate with the team to support the agency's growth and operational goals
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Active 2-20 license required (4-40 license considered for on-site candidates)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial insurance account management (5+ years preferred)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software highly preferred; familiarity with EZ Lynx is a plus
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of middle to large market accounts and the ability to market and service accounts independently
