About the Role:
We’re seeking a dependable and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This is a client-facing, service-focused role within a well-established independent agency. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of personal insurance, thrives in a fast-paced office setting, and is committed to excellent customer service and retention.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day servicing of personal lines accounts (home, auto, umbrella)

Assist walk-in customers with policy needs, questions, and changes

Focus on policy retention and providing outstanding client service

Process endorsements, add vehicles, and make other policy changes

Quote renewal business; occasional quoting of new business

Explain coverages and policy details clearly and confidently

Support producers and team members with overflow servicing needs
Requirements:
-
Active P&C license required
-
2+ years of personal lines experience

Strong working knowledge of standard personal lines products

Experience handling policy changes, endorsements, and customer service

Prior use of Erie or Hartford systems strongly preferred

Captive background may be considered with strong tenure and relevant skills

Must demonstrate strong multitasking, independence, and reliability
Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with Erie or Hartford carriers

Servicing standard personal lines accounts

Background with customer-facing roles, both in person and over the phone

Ability to manage renewals efficiently and independently
