Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their commercial insurance policies and providing exceptional support to ensure their needs are met. You will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships with clients and carriers, ensuring seamless communication, and delivering professional insight to safeguard client interests.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, providing excellent service and timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Manage all aspects of the commercial lines accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims support.
  • Collaborate with producers and account executives to ensure a seamless client experience from acquisition to renewal.
  • Analyze client coverage needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
  • Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates and coverages that align with client requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver proposals, presentations, and other client-facing documents.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and new products to better serve clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the agency management system.
  • Proactively identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members to foster a supportive and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in commercial lines account management or a similar client-facing role in the insurance industry.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and industry practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing inclusive and equitable client service.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills with a client-centric approach.
