Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with commercial clients, ensuring their needs are met, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Keep abreast of industry trends and market changes to provide expert guidance to clients
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and billing inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide support during the claims process and assist clients with claim resolutions
- Act as a trusted advisor, cultivating long-lasting relationships with clients and promoting client loyalty
- Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling of additional insurance products
- Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions and transactions in the agency management system
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar client-facing role in the insurance industry
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in agency management systems (EPIC experience highly preferred) and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple client accounts
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
- An active P&C (Property and Casualty) License is preferred
