Compensation:

• $65,000 - $75,000/year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience handling Workers Compensation/Indemnity Claims for Minnesota
• Must have experience handling litigated files
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims, including reviewing new claims, gathering information, and determining compensability.
2. Conduct thorough investigations into the circumstances of workplace injuries, including obtaining medical records and witness statements.
3. Calculate and authorize indemnity benefits, including temporary total disability, permanent partial disability, and vocational rehabilitation benefits.
4. Ensure compliance with state workers' compensation laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed claim files, documenting all relevant information, communications, and decisions.
