We are currently seeking a knowledgeable New York Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our client's already successful team. This role involves managing workers compensation claims in compliance with New York state regulations, ensuring fair outcomes, and delivering excellent service to clients and claimants.
Compensation:
- $80,000 - $90,000/year

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling New York indemnity/lost time workers compensation claims.
- Comprehensive knowledge of New York workers compensation laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Active New York Adjuster's License
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of workers compensation claims from inception to resolution in compliance with New York state regulations.
- Conduct investigations, including gathering statements, medical records, and other pertinent documents.
- Determine claim compensability, establish appropriate reserves, and maintain accurate claim files.
- Review and interpret medical records, wage documentation, and treatment plans to determine benefits.
- Coordinate with claimants, employers, medical providers, and attorneys to facilitate the claims process.
