Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Select Commercial Inside Sales and Marketing Specialist to join a team. Compensation Package

  • Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 annually, plus commission

Responsibilities

Prospecting

  • Develop strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Generate B2B sales for accounts with premiums under $25,000 through referrals and cold calling.
  • Handle incoming prospect inquiries via phone, walk-ins, and website leads.
  • Analyze client insurance programs and recommend improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while achieving annual sales targets.

New Business Placement

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current insurance products and market trends.
  • Compile underwriting information and prepare applications for submission.
  • Negotiate pricing, policy terms, and conditions with insurance carriers.
  • Present quotes and recommendations to clients, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Issue binders, certificates, and other necessary documents for new accounts.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide rating and quoting support for commercial client service teams.
  • Adhere to agency processes, including documentation and compliance guidelines.
  • Participate in internal and external educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Attend regular department and company meetings.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

  • Valid Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance Licenses.
  • Proven experience managing small commercial insurance accounts.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to identify client risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management software.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
