Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing a robust book of business, providing exceptional service to clients, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $55,000 to $85,000 annually (up to $90,000 for highly qualified candidates).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business valued at $2M–$2.5M, consisting of approximately 600 policies.
  • Handle all aspects of account management from A-Z, including quoting new and renewal business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, processing ID cards, and ensuring timely policy renewals.
  • Collaborate with team members and act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
  • Utilize technology platforms such as Sagitta, Vertafore, and ImageRight to manage accounts efficiently.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Texas insurance market and carriers.
  • Participate in team activities and contribute to a positive office culture.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with knowledge of Texas market carriers. Experience with farm and ranch insurance is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance software such as Sagitta, Vertafore, and ImageRight.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A team-oriented mindset and willingness to mentor others are highly valued.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance are a plus.
