Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM) to join a growing team. As one of the oldest and most respected agencies in St. Louis, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to a clients. With a strong track record of growth, we are expanding our team to better serve a clients by departmentalizing our operations into commercial and personal lines. This role will primarily focus on managing standard personal lines accounts, with the potential to handle some commercial lines accounts for candidates with relevant experience.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: 100% agency-paid benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal lines accounts from start to finish, including quoting, processing, and renewals.
• Collaborate with producers and underwriters to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Go to market for quotes and negotiate with carriers to secure the best coverage for clients.
• Handle all aspects of account management, including policy processing and client communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain and grow client relationships.
• Assist with commercial lines accounts if experienced in this area.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required. The agency is willing to support obtaining additional designations.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, preferably in personal lines. Experience with commercial lines is a plus.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Applied Epic software is preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Work Environment: Must have a dedicated workspace and the ability to effectively manage responsibilities remotely.
