Commercial Lines Account Executive / Support Leader for Large Commercial

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Lines Account Executive / Support Leader to join a team. This role is pivotal in leading and supporting a team of professionals managing a large commercial book of business. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a proven ability to manage change, and expertise in large commercial property and casualty insurance. Compensation Package

  • Salary: Up to $125,000 annually (flexible for the right candidate)
  • Remote Work: Fully remote option available

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 8 direct reports, including CSRs and account managers.
  • Oversee workflows, develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Train and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Support producers by managing books of business as needed and addressing client issues.
  • Drive team motivation and engagement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to influence and implement change management initiatives.
  • Provide quoting and inside sales support as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Extensive experience in large commercial property and casualty insurance, with a strong background in leadership and people management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and rally team members toward common goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Epic software; experience with Applied systems is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with contractors, manufacturing, auto dealerships, and trucking accounts is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong operational and workflow management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective SOPs.
  • Education/Certifications: Relevant licensure or designations are preferred but not required.
  • Location: Open to candidates nationwide; preference for those with experience in Wisconsin, Minneapolis, or the broader Midwest markets.
