Commercial Insurance Service Representative
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Service Representative to support clients throughout the insurance policy lifecycle. This role is responsible for handling client inquiries, processing policy changes, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to provide responsive and efficient service.
Candidates must reside in Georgia.
Responsibilities

Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels.

Provide information regarding insurance products, coverage options, policy terms, payments, and claims processes.

Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and other service requests accurately and efficiently.

Maintain accurate client and policy information within the agency management software.

Investigate and resolve client questions, discrepancies, and service issues.

Escalate complex matters to the appropriate internal team and follow through to resolution.

Maintain organized and accurate client documentation.

Support compliance with applicable insurance regulations and internal procedures.

Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and other internal teams to address client needs.

Identify opportunities to improve service processes and the overall client experience.
Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.

Previous customer service experience, preferably within the insurance industry.

Knowledge of commercial insurance products, terminology, and processes.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AMS360 or similar agency management software.

Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
