Construction Safety Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Safety Specialist to join a team.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $100,000 to $110,000, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections of worksites and facilities, identifying workplace hazards and providing recommendations for compliance.
- Develop and implement safety programs tailored to client needs.
- Deliver safety training sessions, including forklift safety, aerial lift, and boom safety training.
- Create comprehensive safety manuals, including site-specific manuals when required.
- Collaborate with general contractors to discuss and enforce safety protocols.
- Interact with governmental agencies to address and mitigate safety concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 regulations and ensure client adherence.
Qualifications/Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 (all subparts) is required.
- Certifications in forklift safety training, aerial lift, and boom safety training are highly desirable.
- OSHA-certified trainer and NYS CR-59 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification during employment).
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying problems and developing effective solutions.
- Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
